They are all rubber sealed with the exception of the 4 flanged bearings. I only have metal shielded in stock for this one.

If its an issue let me know and I can get rubber sealed in for this kit.

What is the bearing material steel or stainless steel I couldn't find the flanged as SS 2RS so I refitted mine with a good coat of silicone grease. If you can get them I could do with 8.

Its not a popular bearing in the industry and hard to get in any configuration.
They are not SS.

Maybe metal shielded ones will be better as they will have less drag than rubber sealed ones. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

Only in a clean environment the gyro is the only place I would expect the rubber seals to cause losses.

I had a bearing fail on the egyro. It was the one that is next to the windings on the stator. After I took this picture the ball bearings just fell out. I used pliers to get the race off of the stator. I have it back together as I had spare bearings. Order more bearings from Fast Eddie.

I managed to take back the motor mount just enough to fit the 13t pinion and its free from binding now. I also re-tuned the forks with some new o-rings and some plumbers tape, they are good to go!!

Thanks David. For the silver plastic bits I used some epoxy gloss enamel in aluminium finish I had lying around. For the lexan I use Tamiya PC cans.

Looks as if the cage came to pieces and lucky escape as normally the little pins are steel but avoided being pulled into the tight gap between the windings and magnets
If still spinning at any speed could have a total replacement case
Quality bearings should avoid a repeat

Some footage from the other day of me & my mate testing our new 5800mah 40-80C lipo's they gave the bikes more punch & good run time.

Vinnie's day did not go well after 5mins running he pulled the screw out of his butt & started playing havoc in the handling department, then he got knocked out & near ripped his hand off in an endo so while he was off to the hospital i did some close up footage of my mates bike.

Hey TJ, are they stock motors with what size pinions??

Also, there won't be any aerial filming any time soon as my quadcopter took on a mind of its own and went flat stick into a shed from about 50m away. It will be on the bench for a while now as I can't afford to fix it just yet. ����
