My guess is that anyone that kicked WD would wind up in cement (or is that CONCRETE) overshoes.

(Best attempt at humor I can do at this hour - back to running the airport)

Man I'd LOVE to---but the old knees just aren't working well to hike over any un-even ground. My health is doing better--but retrieving planes etc. is just not in my future! I miss flying with you guys--have fun and enjoy Germany!! I've been there--lot's of great things to see and so many good brews!!!

More flying today with the whole team and Dave Cortina came along for support. Also Fred Sena came and pushed buttons for us both days. Thank you both!!!!

Brandon found the groove today and was looking great. WD was solid and I am feeling quite prepared.

San Simeon is great training grounds for us. Today blew 25+ most of the day and we flew both Wicked Sister and The Curb. Landings were great all day!

Training hard and looking forward,

KP

San Simeon is quite the venue, to say the least. Preparation, a game plan, and execution are mandatory, and even more paramount when the wind is 25+. I think the last 2 days were perfect preparation, and a big step for the team. It is quite the mindblower to throw the Pike off a 12-15ft cliff edge, weighing 130+oz....and then thinking it was a "good call" on the ballast!
