thanks to all on this forum who have helped me with my setting up my V 1.5,

in acro mode all's set ok and I think I've just about got the A/L setting correct now but I'd like others opinions on it, in S/L settings I've got P 34 and limit 37, I don't think I want to go much lower as I'll lose more authority on the sticks if I do, in the vid there's a couple of times when there's a slight wobble but I've put that down to the S/L working as it should, am I right?

let me know if you think my settings are ok after looking at the vid

setting up self level on my KK2 V 1 5 (5 min 17 sec)

many thanks guys

Hi Everyone. I'm looking for help and someone suggested this thread. I bought an Armattan Quad from the For Sale Multirotors section. I haven't adjusted anything but my Stick Scaling for Pitch and Roll at the moment. When I turn on Self Level I find that my quad is drifting forward and right. I'm trying to determine how best to adjust that. I found the below post when trying to do a search through this thread. Is this what I need to do or am I misinterpreting things?

Does changing the ACC Settings change normal flight or anything? Does it just adjust self level?

I assume I would decrease Roll to give it more left? And increase Pitch to give it more back? Is this right? In what increments should I try these adjustments?

2) Switch self-level on and take off. Do not adjust transmitter trims. Instead
see which way it is drifting and then land it. Disarm and then adjust the
ACC trims in the KK2 self level menu.(see pic below)

In the ACC self level menu
If you want it to drift more left or more forward = negative(decrease the numbers)
If you want it to drift more right or back = positive(increase the numbers)

Left and Right would be the Roll
Forward and Backward would be the Pitch

.....

I'm somewhat new to this board, but my initial guess is you could have a CG issue. One crude fix is to "trick" the multi-rotor that you're level when your not. Done here by Hallstudio.

That's an interesting approach to the problem. I may give this a try.

Got 4 x turnigy plush ESC's,
4x DT750 hextronic motor's,
TX is a 9X on ER9x, with HK TR6A v2 rx,
I have followed install video's and got to plug everything in,
But Am getting the following Error

"Warning Sensor Calibration data out of limits.
Check your settings."

I do a sensor check getting

Gyro X: 533 OK
Gyro Y: 497 Not OK
Gyro Z: 614 OK
Acc X: 622 OK
Acc Y:612 OK
Acc Z: 814 OK

But if i move the board the "Not OK " changes to "OK" but then changes back

Please help!!!!

taz007, I had the same issue with a brand new board, had to send it back to HK.

Your Gyro Y is only just out, it needs to be at least 500, so close.

You can try to flash the board, but that usually doesn't help as it's most likely a faulty gyro.

Looked very smooth to me, looks nothing like the UK though.

Did not notice it wobbling, maybe a slight one but that was when decending vertically which is usual, due to dropping through its own downwash.

Increase the Stick Scaling for Aileron and Elevator to give more authority, I set mine at 90 ish for flips/rolls but use dual rates on the Tx to give me 65% for fast circuit flying as it is smoother and still gives excellent control.

I turned my Self level P gain down a bit to make it smoother on my Tricopter.

Write down your 1.2 settings first as it will go back to defaults, Flash it to 1.4 or 1.5 (if you need camera stab), load correct motor layout, do calibration and receiver test, put in your recorded values, leave Self Level Gain and trims at default until you test fly it.
How do I find out which firmware version my kk fc is running on? its new from hk, is it easy to update the firmware if mine is 1.2? sorry I'm being lazy, must in in this thread somewhere...thanks again for any help anyone can give

Very easy to update. Use lazyzero flash tool. That program contains the file to flash your kk2. Or the files are on the first post of this thread.

The firmware version is shown for a second or two on power up.

That's the programmer but you should be able to use your old kk board one.
