I might even start by carefully reflowing the solder connections on the board. All gyro, accel, and CPU connections, but I am good at soldering.
I haven't changed the settings from 1.4 defaults - it flies that good out of the box. I'll try 1.5 w/ defaults before moving on. I did put a level on the top plate of my quad, where the KK2 sits, and it is level with the ground it sits on. I also measured around the bottom plate to the ground, and that is within 1mm all around. Certainly not enough to make self-level want to over-correct at a 20 degree angle on two axis, I would think.

I'm handy with an iron, I might try sticking it on the solder. Otherwise, my reflow station is coming for Xmas

i would pay that much to avoid the 3 week wait from china .sometimes getting back in the air is worth a little more .
where do you think all the US vendors get their resale items?from china/hk

personally i have no issues with paying a little more to someone who took the time to wait for parts ,then assumes responsibility for those parts if and when they dont work as advertised .

Nice case but for $18.00 it's way overpriced. A small bowl from the dollar store works just fine for me :-)

Rule of thumb. When ordering from HK, get as many as you can at one time. Saves time and money.

And you can turn around and sell them here for a 50-100% markup since they are out of stock at HK.

DITTO!!!
My latest HK order has been sitting in HK port for 2 weeks. I'm tired of waiting.
I ordered some of it from US vendors just to have it NOW!

That's exactly what I do - saves being ripped off with 100% mark-up!

Really? The most I have ever had to wait is 2 to 3 days then 4 to 6 days postage to the UK.

Yep, my first order took 9 days to get to the US, then 2 days to me.
I made my latest order Nov. 20th and it's still in HK port.

A second shipment from the same time, which includes replacement hardware
for an X525 frame kit is still in HK. I got the X525 on Nov. 9th and need the parts.

I'll not order from HK again unless I really have an order that I don't need right away.
Their prices are unbeatable, but the delay in shipping isn't worth it for me.

Hello!Yesterday I removed my Naza from my Y6 Tricopter and made it a Normal Tricopter with servo. I have installed the KK 2.0 and finally flashed it with the 1.4 from KK. From the Factory settings the Tricopter wasn't flyable. Too much trim to set it and even with that couldn't make it stable. After watching some videos with people sawing their own settings, I have tried to fly it again and nothing, the same. The Front Left motor was spinning two much faster than then other too and my motors was HOT, so HOT that after the "flying" I couldn't touch them. I removed the KK 2.0 and added the Blue HK KK v3 board with the 1.6 KK firmware. After some very very little trims I managed to make it really really stable. What is the problem? My ESCs are flashed with Simon's and is flying perfectly with the v3 Board. What is the problem? PS. I use a Zippy Compact 4s 5000mAh battery. Total weight 1250 grams.

And another thing is their packing. I was real lucky to get everything in a $300 order
because the box was broke open. Not even the Postal Service took the time to put a piece of tape on it. I should have refused the package and cancelled payment to HK. I was lucky and nothing was missing.
