Haven't been able to get on it for an hour. Can't get to
support to check my X525 "missing parts" claim either.
Update....

HobbyKing.com server(s) are offline for the next 40 minutes.
Our server host is currently updating some network stuff to resolve a thing-a-me-whats-it in the server room
and unfortunately our site is unable to run until they finish.

It shouldn't be long now before the website is back up.

...1.4 and 1.5 are better than 1.2v but as what I read, sometimes you will run in into problems....take the risk...it's your call !

HK's site has been slow for me for a week now, hope they figure something out.

I use 1.4 on my KK2, works perfectly.

Let me guess: Your problems are related to Driver Signature Enforcement in Windows 8? If so, follow this link: http://laslow.net/2012/03/14/disable...-in-windows-8/

At least it worked for me on Windows 8 Consumer Preview .

Can someone that has a Quad 450 size with 2830's 1000kv motor's post thier settings please. I cant seem to get mine dialed in. It's not drifting is bad as it used to but it does twitch a lot.

Also what's the feeling about using expo and or dual rates from having it be so responsive? If so what do you guys use for dual rates and expo?

I want to pull my hair out with this QUAD!

I would recommend zero'ing out your expo and D/R's.

Use stick scaling on KK2 if you want to tune the quad down and in my opinion flying your reciever always at full rates is better practice -> less to remember about.

If you mean twitchy rudder i'm also having problems with it now, raising P gain on yaw axis helps.

I will post it here because it really helped me a lot with PI tuning on my KK2 board.

http://autoquad.org/wiki/wiki/flying...tuning-theory/

I know it's from different FC, but theory of PI tuning is the same and here it's described very good.

Just ignore the "D term" description as it's non-existent in our boards.

Oh well! hopefully it will fly (most likly crash) before the new year!

on the left you well see where the leads from your RX goes into and then on the right you well see M1 etc...thats for your motors...up top kwft there are 2 pins, thats for the LVC buzzer that comes with it(Note. You have to solder a Positive wire to your PDB so the KK can see what voltage is running though your system from your batter..sort of like a current sensor) used on OSD's. Also i do belive from left to right is neg and positive...i havent done this mod yet, but if i recall form hairmanchild's vid at the first page that correct...

Also on the bottom right theres a 6pin ISP..thats for flashing the board if you want...but not needed out of the box. You can not plug it in wrong..if you do, it well not smoke the board like order KK's. If you have it plugged in wrong the lcd well not power up...turn it around and get power.
If you want to ask questions, i started a discussion on my blog on the KK for people leaning...cause yes WE ALL HAVE BEEN THERE...you won't get any rude remarks over there...

ask questions?.... never....Snarkasm's good one!
Awesome, Info, I love it. ill go check out your blog!!! Thanks much!

Powering the RX from M5 is that the right way to do it?

On a X quad.

Oh, and when setting Gain a Limit, why are some setting P Gain higher than P limit? Isn't that making P Gain never go over Limit?
