I wonder if Christian's (LazyZero) flashtool can re-flash it?

The latest version has the KK2 board listed - so - maybe!

I'm a little confused - should I be flashing the board with the KK2.hex file, or with the XXcontrol_KR_XCopter_v2_0.hex file? (this is for a X-quad).

Update: I should RTFM - I have just read that it's the KK2.hex file I need!

Thanks Rolf! I noticed Lazyzero's KK flashtool has a header to select KK2 fw, but when I do there's no firmwares there to flash. No clue how to help with the assembly code.

Chris, got the pinouts? First one (besides Rolf) to fly the first release gets 3 cheers, LOL!

You can flash with a local file - download KK's file and use that?

I know, I was just commenting current on the state of the kk flash tool. I think Chris is trying with AVRdude, but is having signature and fuse errors. Could be the pinout but not sure; I haven't seen a description of the KK2 pinouts yet anyways. I read through the changelog and I have no need to update (AHRS still not there yet, and the rest is unecessary for me). I'm just soaking in knowledge so I know exactly what to do when AHRS comes out.

Kev

[Rolf: Considering that the chip is almost full already... will AHRS even fit without splitting up the code? If it ends up that the KK2 gets a bigger chip later on to make room for improvements, I hope us early adopters get split up firmware; so we can fly the oversized codes too. ]

Yes, but PLEASE NOTE this one that I made was for another KK board, however it does show the basics that can also be applied to flashing the KK2 board.
