I also got an Email that said...This is an email from hobbyking's product checker #8.
I would like to inform you that your product(s) have been double checked and are now packed in their box and sent to the dispatch area.

Can it be? I think its some kind of mistake or something.
HK support explicitly stated that they are not gonna have it on stock in +2months.

PS: verified, its on the way shortly

Having a HK KK, FH-X46 and Naza+GPS but had to order one of these for testing. Seems to be a big change in amateur multirotor world if these can be manufactured in huge quantities.

If you watch the video, the scale stick is one of the menu items on the LCD.

Anyone else from the first batch waiting for their board to be shipped?

I ordered when the stock level was still green and used a buddy code on the 20th. Still in the 'you order has been printed' stage.

I know it will come eventually, just being impatient I guess.

Yes, ordered when there was stock, no buddy code, still saying reserved.

Well mine has left Hong Kong yesterday, and disappeared into the black mysterious hole know as Australia Post. They can take 7 days to get a letter from 3km. away to the CBD.

My first test will be to replace the Crius Lite board on my Turnigy Micro quad, I could never get the small quad as stable as I wanted it with the Crius, so it will be interesting to see if there is much difference.

Is the LCD removable on the KK2?

Sigh... Mine are still yet to leave HK. I'll actually be in Hong Kong on Sunday.
I'll probably be there when it arrives home

Erknie, did you want to make it removable?
I can see from the photos that the metal frame of the LCD is soldered hard onto the board but I bet the LCD has those rubber contact systems to electrically connect the LCD to the board. Maybe you could replace the metal tabs with a threaded bolt?

Depends how strong the LCD is, I know it's not hard to smash the yaw gyro off on the original KK board.
