How does it glue into the plane?

Hi arcticflyer!
Don´t forget to roughen the aluminium mount when gluing it in the fuse and you should drill some holes in the part which sticks in the fuse, where resin could mortise! We use cotton flocks thickened resin and allways put an 160g/m² glass cloth on the resin filled holes to be sure not to loose motor and mount when 12-14 KW are pulling

my solution is similar.

YEEEHAAA...back in the speed business soon!

Chris got my mount finished and installed it for me and sent some pics of the process. He put holes in the side of the mount for epoxy to wick through. then wound tow and epoxy around the lip until it was packed...pushed it into the front of the plane and wound some more through a slot in the Fuz.

So the area around the mount is packed full and he used Aeropoxy which is better than the over the counter JB.

Am going to do some static tests today and get back in the air in the next day or so...hope to get you some video

Everything is back in and the plane balanced out at 70mm

Hope to get some good weather in the next two days...will report on the next few flights.

Then I'm ordering a New Neu...no pun intended! I want a 6S setup and this motor is maxed out at 5S. With new props coming from Marcus I should be able to get to 400kph (250mph) with a 1515/2.5D at 6S.

For now will finish getting the plane "dialed in" then start pushing for more speed again

The plugs are nearly finished and i´m going to mold-making soon, when all the plugs are finished! About 20 new speed-folders in different sizes from 7x10 to 12x25 are on the way

!
And yes, you are the first one, who can test them for sure
