I thought maybe fellow Forum readers would like to look over a new NASA publication on the contributions of the Langley Research Center (Hampton, VA) to current military aircraft. It was written for nontechnical types, has lots of photos, and is interesting reading. I call it to your attention because of the extensive use of models-both wind tunnel and R/C types!

Thanks a lot for the link. It is a big file and with the present internet connection I get a I/o error after a while .

I have to ask a friend of mine with a very much faster connection to download it. It sure must be very interesting reading.

At the momment I am reading a book called " Chariots for Apollo" by Charles Pellegrino and Joshua Stoff. It is mostly about the Lunar Module story but it is a great book. ISBN 0-380-80261-9.

Do you ever see Earl Stahl? He comes up to Petersburg sometimes for the Brainbusters and DC Maxecuters meets. Hope he is still doing ok. I live in Richmond area and fly small electric stuff.
