I decided to try new concept of building planes. Till now i was using dollar tree foam. Now i switched to EPS+XPS foams.

This is my very first plane i build using this foam. It was supposed to serve as learning guide for future planes, tryout for different colors and also as weight/wing span comparison.
I have several 1200kv motors at home with 800g trust. So i wanted to know whats the biggest wing span i can use and be under 800g.

Final plane has some issues, but i was expecting that from the beginning. If you make some step prior some other, sometimes is very hard to fix your mistakes. So the main wing is not perpendicular to fuselage, the fuselage is not 100% symmetrical an angle of incidence is not set correctly. I made some test flight, plane is very tail heavy. I have to add 100g in the nose to balance it.

But after all i was very surprised how well the plane flies compare to how many mistakes i made during the build

Now im preparing version 2 of the same plane with wing span of 1050mm.

The spec for the plane are
wing span: 1000mm
weight with 2200mah 3s battery + 100g weight in nose: 830g
motor: 1200kv
prop: 9x4,7 SF

i had big problems with orientation, since the plane is gray.
I ended up with fluorescent orange paint on the bottom main wing and nose
