When my wife and I got married (13 years ago this coming monday Nov 17th) I shipped out overseas a few days later. When we finally had our first Christmas together, we were SOOOO excited that we put up the tree two weeks before Turkey day. Ah, the bliss of the newlywed.

We're not going to put up a tree at all this year, since we'll be moving in January (or I will at least, maybe both, depends on Uncle Sam)

We have yet to put out turkey decorations, let alone Xmas stuff.
Ya, it's to early.

Congrats Jim, good luck. William A. yes we both post off the same three Computers, and the same internet. If you wan't me to fly an Estes Sky Ranger jet in 50-20 MPH winds, then sure, there is something else to do.

Just a little update, I was also the first to pull them down. Does that make everything better? Theres a house that still has theirs up down the street though. I don't think the wind buster would make a good trainer, that with the fac that I don't have the cash for it. Wonder if the family will let me put the lights up in october this year?

I Wonder if some of us E-Zone Amateur Sociologists could group people into 3 types:
1. Those that take down their Christmas light in a timely manner.
2. Those who take them down in spring when it gets warmer.
3. Those that leave them fade in the sun all year round.

Anyone want to give it a shot describing general characteristics of each group.

I'll go first.
1. This type of person rinses their shower after every use with dialy shower cleaner.
2. This type of person cleanes their shower when it gets some soap film buildup
3. This type of person doesn't bother...replaces shower curtain when it gets too moldy.

I don't put up any Christmas lights at ALL. Never have.

Oh, and I just flip the shower curtain around when it gets too moldy.

You missed a group. Those that don't take part in a pagan festival of lights. And those that make a cleaning solution of laundry detergent(1/4 cup per gallon of water), spraying the shower down with said solution after every shower. Never need to clean. Try it.
