I've been working on a blue devil destroyer model from lindeburg. Its over 3' long and has the option to turn it into a RC destroyer with upgrades.

I got some very cheap NQD 18" boats I figured I could screw with and remove some of the internals of being I only payed 39.98 for 2 of them and figured they wouldn't last me a hell of a long time, but I want to figure out more permanent fixtures to put into it.

I'm looking for ideas on the cheapest way to upgrade it to a RC boat - I take it I would need a motor, servo, ESC at the least if I am able to use the NQD's remote control for the rest of it. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm thinking this would be a scale model of a batteship and you'd probably get more "useful" information in the scale boats area.
