Bob's kit is first rate and fits the bill for either power system but it does have a steep price in comparison to what Fahim can do with his CNC foam.

My A10 kit from Fahim is a perfect example of this in that a fully molded plane from Chris Graham of similar size is as much as a small turbine and well worth the cost. Having a less expensive alternative but with some work added in on the customer side can be a big savings. After all this is a Hobby!!!!!!

So, what interest could there be for a LARGER than 70mm single type airframe?? An airframe that can be easliy converted to many variants in the T-38/F-5 family

i vote a big 90mm so it flys well ,does,nt need to be a speedster. wings thick enough to use electric retracts.and i think a f-5 would be better as the inlets are bigger and comes in more scheams.scale inlets no cartoon inlets

I would agree with Rodger`s suggestions.

Of course it depends on price vs what you get. Is there a place to go have a look at the type kit it would be and aprox price range.

+1 I'm interested a 90mm would be fine. The right size airframe using retracts now available would also help keep the price affordable. IMO.

Just curious are we talking construction along the "Wowplanes" line or more like what they did on the Falcon5 T-38 construction?

From Fahim i would expect the same type of construction, CNC cut foam and the finish to suit the builder. As to price,......that would be Fahim's judgement. When compared to the current, or the lack of offerings at this time, Wowplanes would seem like the goto for a kit and prototype in short time. This would depend on him and what he has already going and future plans. I said short time in that with his CNC setup, and a good three view to work from, it MIGHTgo fairly quick but that is just my 2 cents worth.

I'd be in for a 90-100mm version. Either T38, F-5, or F-20.

I so agree that his is the right size. And as always, it should be up to the builder what version (T-38 or F-5) they choose. Provide instructions for modifications to F-5 from the basic T-38 airframe is what I suggest.

BTW, I live in Lubbock, Texas. Aand once upon a time we had a operational air training command base here known as Reese Air Force Base. I personally would love to have a T-38 in the two tone white/blue paint scheme.
