Alien Aircraft Taylorcraft build thread

Hi guys.
After one month having the kit I finally started building it.This is my very first build and I hope you can help me with your opinions. So first I start with the wing´s central part then move to the right wing and I hope I can finishe the right and left wing and join the three parts today. I leave you some pics. Cheers.

Day 2

The right wing is done. I took me a lit of bit more time than the expected but it worth it. I also finished the right aileron. Here some pics.

It appears to be quite sturdy construction. Are you making sure the wing panels are perfectly straight? Now's the time to make sure!

There was a Taylorcraft lazily doing figure eights over my house yesterday. Fun to watch!

I'll watch as you progress, being a bit of a Taylorcraft and Auster (British Taylorcraft, in case you didn't know) nut.

Hmm. Is this the correct quote, or is the forum acting a bit funny?

ronaca88, the build looks pretty good, and we might even see your T-craft fly before we see Geoff's Auster fly. "Fly" the verb, not the the noun...

Ah, yes, James, you've got me pegged! And yes, My Auster has gotten nowhere for months! So, ronaca88, we'll have to be content to watch your bird coming together.

looks great. I'm building their Dragon Seaplane now - if it flies as well as the old Herr planes the Taylorcraft may have to be added to my very long "to build" list.

At least Rodrigo got a lot more done than I did with my Auster from Comet Taylorcraft plans before life got in the way!
