Ok ... and don't ask about the hero series... but when you are about to buy a new gimbal it's a bit frustrating to know some new one will come may be soon .... or not.

As stated end november, Photohigher is working on the products announced but you can easily understand that now they take care about their communication and the date they want to speak about it.

YES Photohigher is working on the new gimbal serie, yes photohigher is still working on the direct drive system for AV130/200.

To answer bebellm, yes it's a good idea to buy anAV200 now, you put a skyline on it and you start working with it, you will find your own settings for your own aerial system. When the direct drive system will come, you will have a good knowledge of the skyline and how to set it up perfectly.

Once I sold a 1 year old EOS 5D when I heard rumours about the 5D MKII.
One year later I was still waiting it to be released...

On the other hand when finally decided to buy myself a new Macbook Pro, a week later a totally new model was announced...

Yes but for the Macbook and Apple there is no suprise if you follow just a little bit the Apple news ... Like Iphone at the end of the year, and for macbook rumors are very accurate !

For this they announce a product a long time ago, I think it's not the best way to communicate because too frustrating for the customers !

You never know when they will release a totally new model or just do a small revamp. And as soon as you stop looking the news and make the buy, tcharaaaam! A revolutionary product shows up !

That was predicted by Murphy a long time ago....

I totally agree PH took a false step when they tried to show they could keep up with Zenmuse when it was released but delivered only the exciting promises.

But I'm absolutely sure as soon as I buy a new gimbal the Hero line will show up rocking the multirotor community!

That is $3800usd. Add the price of a Av200 and your looking at around $5k for a DD gimbal that we hope works as well as a Zenmuse but can take larger and different camera's. If that is true, they will sell a ton of them. At least that is what I think.

Well looking at the description I would interpret it as including the AV200 (it says gimbal, not upgrade). Although the AV200 needs the add-on for 3-axis so does this include 3-axis for that?

I'll be honest though, with Boris showcasing the GH3 on the Z15G, that will give you *almost* everything you could ever want for video and photo short of some obscure lens choices.
