Just wanted to let you know about a new servo line we are bringing in. The New ION DS-158 S, and the ION DS-158 HT are impressive little sailplane servos. The ION DS158 S is the higher speed version of the servo, but still packing around 54 ounces of torque, and the ION DS-158 HT is the high torque version with around 63 ounces of torque. They are impressive little servos and the perfect way to save some weight in your sailplane. The price is nice as well.

If yes, they are not new. I used one 3 years ago already ...

Now they are good servos, that is right.

@ target: They do have a top ball bearing.

@prondel: Same case different servo we specked some higher quality electrical components and motors to increase reliability.

I am going to be testing some of these out in my #2 Mini Vision that is being built right now. I am also going to put some of the servos in the link below on the ailerons. If they perform as tested by Cody, they will be at an excellent price point for the performance and availability they will have. With that said, there are some incredible servos out there right now so the competition is stiff. We will see.
