New Copter X 450 PRO V4 FBL heli
I got hold of the new Copter X 450PRO V4.
The new version has upgrades that make it more hard core 3D capable. The new head is almost the same as the standard FBL PRO head for the V3 but the new one has a more cleaner finish. the bearings are smooth.. and the new swashplate is much much better than the old PRO.. this one contains a more smoother bearing and the actual finish is quite good..  The framework is the same as the old PRO. The only difference I found are the new servo holders. These have better finish.. the aluminum is somewhat matte finished and look to be made of a different kind of aluminum alloy... other parts seems to be same as the OLD PRO  another upgrade is the tail boom. The new PRO comes with CF tail boom.. very nicely finished..   The tail assembly is another thing that I found to be upgraded.. and WOW what a big change. The quality of the finish is far better than the V1.. The L arm is not metal and the bearings used are really smooth..  and it comes with CF tail blades..  so basically the new PRO kit has all the parts in CF. and the new parts are far better quality than the V3 PRO...  the main blades are also Carbon fiber.. designed for the FBL system  Now the most impressive upgrade is Copter X Canopies. The new 450 PRO has really good finished canopy.. Gelcoated and pre painted fiber glass canopy... The design looks like it came from its larger brother the CX600PRO..   ill get this little gem up and running to see what the new Copter X Pro V4 can offer...

Yup unit came from eHIROBO...
The heli seems to be upgraded and has better parts. Ill have to get this up and running to compare it with the original PRO heli Quote:

I got the heli built the other night..
used following electronics to complete the little gem. Motor : Copter X 3550KV outrunner motor ESC: Copter X 40A ESC Servos: Fusonic MG-D04 for cyclics/Fusonic 9257MG for tail Gyro: Copter X CX3X1000 FBL gyro The heli looks no different from my old CX 450 PRO V3 heli its mostly the color that changed from the anodized blue to the new Black anodized aluminum... although the parts on the CX450PRO V4 seems to be better. The head is nice although its no DFC but it kinda works nicely the CF boom is kinda cool... test hover was a pain.. as it had the wobbly shakes i never encountered on the Copter X Black Angel. I have the same shakes on the CX500 but had to look for the cause of these vibrations. that tend to shake the hell of the gyro's brain...

Why do you say it's no DFL head? Are the long control arms on the grip a liability? I am new to FBL, but have RJX and Copter X heads. Still learning.

I repeated your DFC mistake, (DFL DFC) But what is better about the Align head than this?

DFC head sits lower so it lowers the CG of the rotor head. Also you lose the washout arms.

Well still need to get the bugs out of this PRO V4 heli. I am still getting little tail wagging.. but have reduced the vibrations...
The first hover test turned out to be a tree cutter,, hehehe,,

Got the heli the other day at our local field. Heli flies better now with the tail modification i did. Still a little more tweaks with the gyro and this heli will fly good
