i personally like the starmax, she a solid bird and behaves great in the air as you must have seen in my vids, well i use all of extremerc. gear so it alloy and het all over the place![]() yes you are right about the retracts, get the metal trunnion servoless from h.k,you just have to cut out some foam and your good to go,apart digging foam for the bigger batt i didn't do that much mods to her,set 70mm alloy combo from extreme,80 amp hobbywing pentium,2600/3700 mah 45c batts, another f-15 that i tried that flies reallygreat too 9until you crash of course![]() ) is the fms f-15,for the starmax get the h.k one and sand off the funky bird and camo her to your taste, they are cheap as in h.k![]() don't hesitate to ask any more questions cheers rudy |

F15ROCKETSHIP, not to diss you or anything, but I'm reminded of the video of Anthony which Rudy posted on page 2
.The reaction of Anthony's friend was pretty funny. with friends like that, who needs enemies. lol!btw, Anthony has gone a long way since then. So yeah, my point is that having an EDF as a first plane can be done. It's just that it's not conventional, and you will likely take a longer time than the traditional progression. I've seen this with my flying buddies that I'm guiding. I wish I can give you advice on the Starmax, but I don't have that plane. Rudy is the best person for that. You really need to have a computer radio with EDFs to dial and tame them down. I heard the Turnigy 9XR is coming out at the end of this year. don't know if you can wait for that. I have the Turnigy 9x, and flashed it with the er9x. I think it's the best value for money. I believe Rudy is using it too. Here is the link. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...Firmware_.html |

This looks like a cool movie. Any movie that features F-15 is cool to me.
![]() One of my friends watched it on the big screen and enjoyed it. It's a korean movie. The title is "Soar into the Sun" or "Return to Base". I don't think it is screening in Oz, but enjoy the action in the promo vids.
