korts the extremerc. combos come with evrything i.e alloy housing.motor and balanced rotor all assembled and ready to go.you just have to install the fan in your jet,hook it up to the esc and your good for some whooshie sounding jet!!

Oh, both my F-15 are not stock. The FMS is bought used and was already upgraded with a Freewing cyclone setup. The Freewing had a stock FMS fan/motor but running 4S. I like running the FMS fan/motor on 4S. good vertical and flight times.
I say the FMS PNF version is a pretty good deal. just change the ESC to 40-50A and you're set.

xtremehobby has the Freewing F-15, but it is the RTF and not the kit.

No bud, been occupied with some testing recently. Was testing out a cheap motor for my 50mm F-18.

This is not an F-15, but still has head buzzes and good landings. I'd really love a single EDF F-15 in the 50mm series.

50mm F18 with cheap 7 quick motor - Buzzes, High Alpha, Low Passes and Close Landings. (4 min 46 sec)

This weekend will be more testing so the F-15 is going to take a break for a while. I slapped an AXN motor on my 50mm mirage last night and turned it into a pusher. Meanwhile, I have to settle for the 50mm F-22.

I also maidened my 70mm F-22 with the HK 10 bladed fan last Saturday. No videos, as I overwrote those videos accidentally on Sunday. Maiden flight was uneventful, fan was too quiet and I still prefer the F-15

I got a photo of the F-15 and the F-22 doing a vertical climb as my wallpaper. I need more power in my heavy F-22 to do that.

I weighed my two F-15 last week.

FMS 64mm F-15: 500g
AUW with 4S 1800mah: 695g

Freewing 64mm F-15: 560g
AUW with 4S 1800mah: 752g
AUW with 4S 2200mah: 808g

The freewing is slightly heavier, but quite a bit bigger than the FMS. It is even bigger than my 70mm F-22.
It has the lowest wing loading among them and floats the best.

your f-15's are very light compared to my starmax,but though keep in mind i have a 3700ma 45c+retracts and struts and what not and i hit 1.4kgs but you saw her fly
if your raptor is silent it's because you have achieved optimun airflow,i.e you have a clean airflow going to your fan,from what i have learned from extremerc. is that the messier the intakes the bigger the roar,your fan must be very efficient therefore silence.......

eagle down,yesterday was the remaiden of the fms f-15,as you will see in the video she flew well but when i throttle down when the timer goes off to bring her in, she started doing exactly thee same thing as my f-16 did before going down i.e loss of control rolls,dives and levels off but this time she clipped her wing coming down,can repair but won't bother i think
mike you see in my earlier posts how my intakes are a bit messed up well put the volume of the video up and you will hear the roar you're after
