i have all the gear for it actually including the alloy 90mm that i should be ready soon so might get it myself, but want to get another f-15,maybe another the twin het?dunno, you can get the stock changesun edf from them for $16 http://www.x-flight.com.hk/?sp=&p=6&...&lang=en&ev=if you want to save on your setup, then you can get http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...ner_630w_.html as your motor,a bit higher kv than recommended but should be fine.
you need at least a 70 amp esc if you go for that setup, you'll be drawing a lot.for the battery go for the extremerc. ones they are 45c rating, real 45c and they work perfect,

i do get where you are coming from jeff
but bigger jets is different from flying the little ones definitely for me,you saw my little t-45,well the setup in there cost me including the airframe was over $150,if you go for the starmax it would set you back almost the same...airframe:$60,motor $13+shipping,battery $70,edf+shipping=$22 approx, esc depends of the brand you want to go for turnigy plush work well and are cheap.all up with approx $200 you should be good to go i.e assuming you have a receiver...
