Whats the diameter of this hexa? I heard Naza GPS doesn't do well in large frames but your setup seems to prove it wrong! Have you tested flight times with gimbal and big camera? I guess you will need another battery in parallel to keep flight times over 5 minutes.

@ Papajeff: I used FY-20A to stabilize the gimbal that's the wires+battery you see ehind the gopro
@ Saabguyspg: The Booy BY2 is quite good quality regarding the price, I found it too slow on the roll axis but it can easily be modified for someone handy. I hadn't time to test it very much since a friend at FlyingCopter offered me to test his 'Monroe' Gimbal: http://www.flying-copter.com/fr/nace.../3-monroe.html
@ Velociraptor: Diameter is 1m, and I can tell you Naza handles it really great at 130% gain it's more stable than my previous quad. I'm using SimonK flashed escs btw.
Flight time is around 5' with gimbal and gopro, so you're right i'll have to use a 2nd battery in parallel.

Anyone have an idea wether the use of 6s battery can change anything to the flight time?

I ordered a octa copter CF frame last Sunday an it arrived today (Thursday). Everything looked fine and each tube was packed separately. The total weight of the content is1250 g instead of 1155 stated. Perhaps some extra nuts and bolts The fixture part were two spares. Perhaps I was lucky, but their first shipment to me was a success.

What kind of flight times do you guys get on them??

My first flight with no camera gimbal or load was 6 minutes and had 50% left in the pack. That was with 3S 9000mAH as that was all I had at the time. I'm planning on running 4S 12000 and hope to get about 6 minutes with full camera gear. I may go to 5S and up to 18000mAH, but need to do some more testing and getting proper weights and all that.

Flyboone i think you need to change your esc location, you can burn them like that.

Also some hight magnetic interference from fire thru arms. Best is to have motor-esc wire thru arms, no esc-battery wire thru arms.

Nah, I've been doing this a long time. The ESC's work great in this position and they getting cooling air from the props, although they don't need it in this setup. It's perfectly fine to extend the battery leads. At one point all the motor factories were saying not to extend the motor leads because of timing issues. Most multi engine airplanes recommend to extend the battery leads and leave the controllers close to the motors. It all seems to work just fine so long as the leads aren't 20ft long and the wire is big enough to handle the loads. I haven't seen any interference from the power leads running through the tubes either. I've built a lot of copters in my day and haven't had a single issue from this.
