what could cause a belt to get lose and what can i do
trex 450 v2
my belt keeps coming lose what is a quick fix ? ive tried tightening over and over

The boom is probably loosening in the block, need to fix the threads or get a new block where the boom bolts into, happens to a lot of belt driven heli;s , I had a couple of V2's.

Put a little piece of scotch tape on the boom where it goes into the boom block. Adjust the belt tension. Then tighten and remember to use thread lock on those nuts.

Put a few drops of ca on to the end of the tail boom where it inserts into the block...Don't insert the boom yet until the ca dries...The little drops of ca will act like a spacer and give the boom a larger diameter for the block to hold...Tape does not work because on hot days the adhesive will melt and the boom will slide...

Pinning the Boom?
What about pinning the boom at the boom block like Finless did with the 450 Pro? I am asking not telling, since I am just finishing a 450 Sport V2 build myself.

im just gonna get rid of the plastic boom mount and buy this one
19 bucks and i may use a align tail gear pulley ive also upgraded this beater heli
to flybarless using the copter x gyro 43 bucks
