Sure kd4wen, no problem. Just shoot me a PM with any questions you might have. I can also let you know when I finish the write-up on the website - it should have everything in detail.

Unfortunately I kind of crashed earlier and broke some props on the X250 - so I won't be flying until I get the new ones in the mail.

But in other news, I just finished some work on my 5.8GHz system and I'll have a write-up about that on the site soon and I plan on using it on the X250 - it should be small enough. Pics attached.

Oooh looking forward to the APM board!

That actually looks pretty awesome. I might have to try that soon.

Be careful your prop.

Terri, I ordered some new 5045 3-bladed props from himodel - the ones Timecop linked to on the old thread. They looked very similar to the ones that were included in the kit. Unless you know of a different source for props?

I would like to add that this is a fun and easy to use little quad. and I have been dealing with Terri for along time. He is a great guy and really tries to make everyone happy. Also if anyone needs help with the multiwii just send me a pm, I may be busy at times, or sleeping, LOL but I will get back to you.

Mine arrived in the mail today...all the way to Afghanistan. Thanks Terri

I receicved one of the power boards with a terminal missing. Can I carefully scrape some of the covering off of the trace and solder it there (closer to the actual leg)?

Thanks,

John

Terri - sent you a PM

What kind of spray bottle did you use (what product was in it)?

F- Save and compile the sketch as per tc3's tutorial.

G- Upload the saved sketch to your board.

H- Run the GUI and calibrate the sensors and the TX.

And of course, you have to have everything plugged in properly or it won't work.

Good luck, man. This is not the easiest board to use for a first build but you'll figure it out.

Best,
Chris
Hi Chris,

My Crius SE finally arrived today. It comes with 1.9 for quadX. I flashed dev_2012_0606 onto it for testing as 1.9 GUI does not come with 64bit shared libs to run on my linux box.

How does your MWC SE compare to your KK? Does it fly better with all the bells and whistles?

Do you find AltHold useful? The baro reading on mine does not seem that steady.

My frame, motors, props and battery are not quite matched yet. I am waiting for new parts.

Best.
