Thunder Tiger E-Hawk II

Hi Guys.

Anyone out there with the Thunder Tiger E-Hawk II ?

I just got mine today, and have begun assembling it.
The quality of te kit seems ok, but a few things are not very good.
The wing retention system does not work to well on mine, So I have made my own system which uses screws to fasten the wing halves to the fuselage.

The threads on some of the fittings that screw into the sullivan type pushrods are too small, and the threads do not engage into the inner plastic rod.

Hope to get it done soon, as it looks realy good otherwise.

I have the ehawk 2000. Pretty much exactly the same except for how the wing attatches. What size servos did you use? Also what is the motor, prop, esc combo? Does it run on a 3s lipo. Ive got to buy the gots of it still.

I used HXT 900 servos in mine.

This is the motor included:

And the included ESC

I use a 3S 2200 batt and it has good power.

So 9g servos allround? They seem a bit small. I read some where that 16g servos are best for 2m gliders. How do you fly yours. This one i have will be used as a trainer for my dad.

This is a slow flying plane, so 9g`s will be just fine.

Fly it like a hotliner, and Im sure you will tear off the wings :-)
