WOW, very nice flying.

I really like your edge colour scheme. Nice mix of red and blue.

Frank I've got the Winner's Model Extra and love it. How does the Edge compare in flying characteristics?

The Edge EPP is the same size with the Extra, and was desighed based on the Extra as well.

Compare with the Extra, the Edge will be more stable. You may feel that the Extra is light, flexible and so easy to be controlled, then we want another plane with more stable characteristics to reach different flying styles and needs. So the positon of the main wing and tail wing has been changed alittle bit to accomplish what we want. The vertical stablizer has also been designed to be connected with the fuselage directly which makes the stablizer and rudder more solid.
It seems we got what we want. We can see its stability in the second video, feel like a balsa kit, and we can also see it is quite good performance in torque roll and harrier in the first video.

Below is one of my video for Extra EPP that you may compare with.

Regards!

Frank

Frank,
Is the 502 CA you recommend in the manual a "thin" or "medium" viscosity?
Is it considered "Foam-Safe", or is Foam-Safe even needed on EPP Foam?

The 502 CA recommended in the manual is a "thin" CA.
It will be safe for EPP foam and glue it quickly(get dried in about 5 seconds), but it eats EPO inside the mainwing, so please use 502 CA carefully.

I see you are running a 70gr motor? Would a Hacker A30-16m (104 gr) be too much on this airframe?

104g motor should be fine for this kit, and run with a battery around 100g..

Using a Torque 20t/1030 a 1300 3s pack and Solar Ds220 9gr servos. 10x4.7 prop. Should be perfect light setup I am thinking. Can't wait to watch him fly it.

Okay I'm new to this full fuse thing and I like it. My 48" 3DHS Extra is sweet. Wanting to try an Edge and this looks like a winner. I have that Torque looking for a home, I prefer 11x3.8 less pitch but more air over the surfaces. I'm in!
