Naze32 gui AIO

I will try to keep updating this blog with the news about the naze32 gui AIO.

So what I reach so far?
Reality is nothing to fancy, just some windows to do the work.

-Gui interface, PID, Radio and checkbox settings. Nothing fancy.

-Cli interface, which makes much more easy the way to interact with the command line interpreter.

- Firmware update tool. You can download the latest firmware with a simple click, and update the board with a second one. Everything is done in background and takes no more than 10 secs. (in fact it takes 4 seconds but I decided to give some time to the board so it reboots correctly).

- The graph window is soon to be release. I have managed to update the data at 100 Hz rate, wich is quite nice.

I will add some images tomorrow.

You can see what is going on. This is the latest update I'm working on.

Just added one small feature, that used to be extremelly annoying in all gui I tested (multiwiiconf, wingui, naze32 older edition gui), comports didn't update on connecting new stuff. For example you open soft and forgot to connect the device. Before today, you had to close the soft and restart. But, NOW, you just click the refresh button and the combobox for com is updated. Piece of cake!

I hope this blog will be helpful for you.

UPDATE 28/7/2012.

Small correction for bluetooth usage. It should work ok now. No firmware update is possible thought in bluetooth.

New UPDATE 4/7/2012
The new serial protocol has been commited. This version deals with it. But it's not compatible with older ones.
Just use this with latest baseflight.

UPDATE 1.0

- No graphs for now, need to finish the form. Button disabled.
- New backup format (to deal with . and , decimal separtors) Old files are not compatible (you just need to replace the old , by -)
-Values are changed with mouse movements. left click on value, keep button press while moving left or right the mouse, value change and when finish, just release mouse button.

TODO:
- Finish graph form.
- Find some logos

It is all over the main thread

has the potential to be a much more complete solution for Naze32. Very soon I think.

Hey Adidas, let me see. no TC don't know about it, it's a clandestine job, using heavy machinery. :-)

I'm joking, of course he knows. And I think he likes the idea of the firmware updae directly from the svn (even thougth I can't make it work as svn but just as a normal download page, so no older revision can be choose, and that's a pitty).

Wait a little bit longer, something nice is comming. If you like value changing in multiwiiconf, you are going to like it in AIO.

Nice job! It would be great to share the sources on google code or github, so we may contribute to your project.

Just tried baseflight r162 with latest gui aio, bugs in cli 'settings' . Doesnt look like can cope with added cli settings on gps/nav.

Yep, if you want, you are welcome, but knowing is written in visual basic, some spanish crap in middle, not very user readable. Forbiden language included some time. :-)

I will make a repository in google for it if you interested enough.

Looking good but still a couple of things:
1. Mag & Level PID is mixed up, when I changed Mag data in GUI, Level PID readings in cli changed to Mag data. In cli my level PID appear in gps_nav PID
2. Firmware download ok but stuck at firmware update, windows error.

In the meantime I'm back to using r160 and using your 'stable' separate cli config and gui to double check all settings (flying this weekend).
Also latest multiwiiconf_dev_20120606 giving screwy readings on mag & level. Would like to try r162 but with the screwy readings am getting from gui aio and multiwiiconf. too risky and too lazy to use putty/hercules to setup cli

Just made a commit,
http://code.google.com/p/naze32confi...owse/download/
Pick the rar there. I will commit there.now.

The cli should work, didn't test the values (at list normal values work)
Firmware update work, for me flawlessly.

Masam, the values from gui and multiwiconf are the same and yes the p level from cli is wrong.

But I think it's that value wrong and you should not take care of it.
The rest works.

When I read cli readings in putty (actual) and compare readings in gui not the same. Gui readings wrong for mag level, gps. Also when I changed readings in cli(settings), not saved. Differences between gui readings and cli "setting" readings. Mag seems p_level reading.

Anyways, your graphs are very nice!
