X8 wing plastic parts

Well I have started sending out some of the plastic vacuum formed parts for the X8. Namely the belly skid plate, fpv nose insert, air intake vents, internal floor bays and large servo hatches for those mounting the push rods on top and want access from underneath ( I recommend the std large HK servo covers as the holes match up).
So to start with here is one install option for the FPV nose insert.
(NB: excuse the clay molding mess around the foam)

Belly skid -Plain AU$45 (custom on request)
Floor bays AU$12 each
FPV nose AU$8
Rear motor guard and wing locator AU$35
Clear hatch AU$40
Lawmate Vtx cover AU$5
Antenna base shrouds AU$2
Folding prop stopper AU$3
Battery tray (holds 2 6000mah in center bay) AU$8
Servo hatch cover - large to match HK servo cover AU$2
Air intake AU$2
ESC cover for a tidy look on outside of plane AU$6
NEW! SkyWalker plane belly skid AU$20

Im simply selling them through the forum. After breakfast I will have a go at covering a nose piece in the Di-noc and post a pic...it's something I have been curious about too.
......Yep sticks really well

X8 plastic mod Parts list

Guys these are some of the plastic vacuumed formed parts I have made for my X8. I am offering them to anyone interested. Some of these parts need a whole sheet (580x580mm) whereas some I can sneak in on another part being formed.
They are all made from 1.0mm PETG clear plastic. This is very flexible and tough.

Belly skid -Plain AU$50 (custom on request)
Floor bays AU$12 each
FPV nose AU$10
Rear motor guard and wing locator AU$35
Clear hatch AU$40
Lawmate Vtx cover AU$5
Antenna base shrouds AU$2
Folding prop stopper AU$3
Battery tray (holds 2 6000mah in center bay) AU$8
Servo hatch cover - large to match HK servo cover AU$2
Air intake AU$2
ESC cover for a tidy look on outside of plane AU$6

are you using any aditional adhesives to put the di-noc on your wing, or just the 3M adhesive on the back of the di-noc?

thank you,
Brian

Brian the dinoc I have doesnt need adhesive. You simply use a 'normal' hair dryer, not a heat gun! and smooth it on as you heat and rub. it must be heat activated stuff. The lump underneath is a real pain to do...do it last after you have gained some skill. It joins really well ie match pattern

Hope that helps.
PM as I only saw this post by accident.

How did this project work out? The last post was a while ago. Was wondering if you think it's possible to do a mold of the the front upper nose... would like to fit a GoPro in there rather than have it stuck to the top of the plane.
