Hrm, wonder how well it would go to light up the master similar to this
Amazing night flight over the pond at Joe Nall pilot Joe Smith (7 min 20 sec)

With some bright leds on thin cf rods.

So the next step is then to supply those metal gear servos with servo arms which break on impact instead of damaging the gears. Those little black (ABS?) arms are really tough and transmit all the force back to the servo, Futaba and Savox use a much more brittle plastic which is still stiff and strong under normal loads but under shock loads it will shatter, protecting the servo gears from overloading.

The other alternative is of course to produce the servo output shaft with splines which match the Futaba or Savox horns. There's no point to have a Walkera specific output shaft...

Next, upload the servo specs to servodatabase.com so everyone can make a comparison against them and other servos available. You never know, maybe non heli fliers will buy WK servos as well... assuming the issue of controller boards shorting out is fixed as well (WK-09-8/9).

Metal gears are a step in the right direction but it's not the whole solution.
Keep going with your improvements WK!! Keep up the good work!

Can we assume this is an analog servo?
One thing I have noticed in my research over the years, the only time I see Walkera say anything is if it's digital. They seem to be rather tight lipped with servo specs, whereas all other manufacturers release information.

One01 do you have contacts inside walkera? We would love if this https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...AkfmGzNiVS2f1o document could be forwarded to the engineers behind the master cp.
Its a group collaboration from some users here on rcg. It contains issues, feedback and suggestions we would love to get some comments on.

Whole solution is to understand that you cannot have a heli which is 100% crash resistant

who wants the scale body? the MasterCP is already heavy, only way i'd recommend it for a scale body is if you were to go brushless. I see too many superficial things on that list. The first thing we should be asking for are fixes for the issues it's having.....servos (which it looks like they are addressing), The bobbing when you are flying, the fixed id issues. Things the CAN fix and would make the heli better. I also think that if the blades were a little wider it would get better lift. I have no issues with lift now with my brushless but for stock it surely could use it.

Guys I'm sorry if this is dumb but I'm new to walkera and devo. I got the master cp with 7e and the only way it binds is if I turn the heli on first then the tx. But in the manual it says tx first then helicopter. Am I missing something?
