http://helircstore.com/shop/helicopt...a,master%20cp,

Unfortunately, out of stock at the moment.....the MasterCP is a pretty popular heli right now. It's like an unsung hero in Walkera's hanger. I'm not going to say it's better than the more expensive heli's in this size but for what a beginner/intermediate needs...it does just fine.

Sorry to hear about this.....it's no fun when you want to fly and can't.
btw, i didn't see it mentioned....do you have any other walkera's to try a range check on? just to rule out the receiver.

The Master appears to be almost completely devoid of mechanical issues. You just don't get parts flying out, or the heli suddenly disintegrating in mid air like some older Walkeras. Its crash resistance is simply amazing. It seems that the servos are main issue. I have had 61 flights and the motors are still strong. I am waiting to see whether the main or tail motor will suddenly fail in mid-flight. It seems that there will a massive launch for the $200 V450D03.

Even if the transmitter is set at 10mW, the range should still be much more than 40 paces. It could be something very simple like a loose connection to the aerial in your transmitter. Someone in the Devo 7e or Devo hacking thread may be able to help.

I don't know of a single MasterCP that has a brushless tail yet.....you'd be a pioneer on that front. If you do it, let us all know how it turns out.

Hrm, id rather avoid beeing a pioneer, ill leave that to the more experienced flyers.
Though then again im likely going to be the first to test the HK-15178B servos on a maser cp, but they have been tested to work on the 4f200 that uses the same 7.6-6 servos.

Yes keep us posted how it works (?) and issues installing them (?).
This thing has got pretty tight space for servo mods.
1mm size difference could take so much time off from you.
