Darook, the Pfalz is from an Aerodromerc short kit, the Pup was my first build and was done from Peter's plan that came with Flying Scale Models one issue, and my 109 is the FMS 1400mm "F" model that they released earlier this year, i just gave it a paint scheme that i like!
heres the video of the maiden, well the bits that had the plane in them anyway, unfortunately there is no landing, young Splinta was busy filming the trees instead thanks for having a go mate. i will post the second full flight when Mike puts it up on the tube.

I could have sworn you said the take-off run was 10 metres, not ten feet.

My bad Pete, i am just a simple fitter and easily confused i will have to work on those scale type takeoffs, 72w/lb is very definately more than ample eh!
I have just been going through the build photos, at present i have 207 out of about 300 that are fully in focus, and not suffering from other faults. i am hoping that next weekend Arlo will have his super camera down at the club and take some top notch in flight pics for me, instead of having to use my poor ol poverty pack one.

Cheers all, the combination of a fantastic design, and a great quality kit from Charlie made for a very interesting and rewarding build. It really is an injustice to call Pete's first builds prototypes, as from what i discovered, and have read on this forum there is very little that needs to be changed from the original plan/kit as supplied!
I can highly recommend this one, thats for sure!

Congratulations on your maiden! Such a pretty plane it looks like a good flyer. What are the animal noises in the background? They sound like sheep but I think they might be some sort of bird.
Have fun with this one.

LOL Clancy, no sheep, our club is in the middle of the metro area, lots of magpies, parrots, kookaburras, and those noisy buggers towards the end were crows.

You can be very proud of this result. It is very beautiful; almost to pretty to fly. Come to think of it, nothing is too pretty to fly. That's where the excitement is.
