Any good Cessna 172/182 or Piper Cherokee/Archer models?

Hi guys, I have started training for my private pilots license and as a result have a new interest in scale planes. All of my gear now is 2100-2400 3S packs, and I can't seem to find and good Cessna 172 or Piper Cherokee/Archer type of models in that 40-50" wingspan. I would go for a really nice foamy, but balsa is preferred. Any older discontinued models out there I should hunt for. I suppose these models are too boring for that average RC enthusiastic, but I'd sure like to have one! ANY SUGGESTIONS? Thanks!

Pat Tritle does a nice 172 Cessna, all built up construction, really light weight.

Sig Manufacturing has a pipper cherokee and a 180 skywagon kits. You can check them out. I have never built any of them but I know that they are quality kits.

You could check out the Flyzone Cessna 182 Select. Very authentic flyer with real fowler flaps. Funny thing, I just sold a clone, ST Models Skylark, with a better motor yesterday for $65. I have flown full size C172 and C182, and can vouch for authenticity.

Get the foamy FMS cessna 182 SkyTrainer when it comes in stock. Version 2 only. You won't be sorry. Try to find it anywhere? It is the cheapy sought after model. 1410mm span. Nice flyer. But get version 2 model. If ad doesn't specifically say version 2. Just pass it up and keep looking. It is due to hit the US in june sometime. Get this and save the $ for flying lessons. Better to be up there for real wouldn't you say?

I ordered the Flyzone Cessna 182 Skylane Select Scale and should have it this week. I will post more info on her after I maiden her this weekend. There is a write up on the plane in The August 2012 issue of FlyRC magazine.
