Why I buy from
Askman TPpacks.com
DJI PhotoShip one
X468.com
Rusty at AGLhobbies
Quinton @ Multiwiicopter.com
CarbonCore frames
Tabb @ CineStar (wish I bought from him)

Wing the small developers are who have made this industry. If we turn I them and buy Rabbit FlightControllers, clone gimbals on eBay and fake frames from online sites then they are all going to stop innovating and move to a different niche market.

Part of being an aware consumer is knowing what our actions as buyers causes

Wing I do not fall into the race to the bottom and hence do not shop as walmart.

I am not going to over spend or buy more toys on the backs of others.

Don't get me wrong customer service plays a big part in my decision to buy from a company. however I work hard for my money. I slave hours on end to keep my client base happy. I have a family to care for. I nor you should owe ANYONE support. They, the developers/inventors chose their career paths and made the decision to take risk in a financially challenged time. Just like I chose a career in art and media. Nobody owes me anything, I earn every bit of money I make by providing the best quality product I can at the lowest possible price. I do what I can to be flexible on my rates. Now people can go elsewhere and get cheaper rates than I offer, but the chances of getting the same quality of product and service for a cheaper rate is slim. If they can, I don't blame them for going that route. They owe me nothing, it is their money. So, again, I will definitely buy from someone that sells a similar product in quality at almost half the price.

Now, someone was equating me to an occupy movement squatter. Does this mentality sound like I agree with that stuff? Actually it makes him seem like he thinks the world owes him something because he is a developer. That is occupy mentality there, not mine.

Looks good to me, i don't think this is a clone, looks more like DJI supplying to RCtimer thru backdoor sale to capture the mid price market.

good to know, so sid this is a clone.

that is too bad.

i cannot imagine that with all the innovative features of the frame and motors that this is actually going to be the same.

perhaps a 4s version that uses 2814s or something.

Dealer Announcement
In light of the recent event at RCG concerning MS-800 (DJI S-800) clone or counterfeit, DJI takes this seriously. We filed two patents on S-800 (Patent Pending 201120275378.4 201120436743.5) several months ago. Our legal team is the process of contacting RCTimer. We hope this issue can be resolved. However, RCTimer business registration presents a challenge. ........
Announcement sent to dealers.

thanks for helping RCG users to at least be informed. That doesnt mean people will not buy it, but they cannot claim ignorance.

hey and that wording is strange.

What about RCG has lead you to pursue legal action?

seems like RCtimer was going to sell this with or without RCG.

Is it just me or does it seem like a negative comment about RCG?

He did say patent pending. It may take some time for the patent to be granted and/or posted. It does reserve his claim legally.

I don't think that this is a negative comment about RCG. DJI is a RCG sponsor.

Exactly. My US patent took 4 months from submission to granting. They can take the chance if the patents are not granted.
