I bought it !!! I canīt wait to have it at home. I am planning install 6S setup and retracts with home made special struts...

Just bought mine too. CS 12 blader, RC Lander retracts, 12S or 8S power. I just need a motor and servos. Yeehah!

In spite of the perhaps oversized wing, I do like what I see and it is a pretty good deal.

If you do buy the HTG version, I wouldn't recommend getting the one with servos. I think the HXT900 are far superior to the "emax" ones that come with mine. Noisy and rather sloppy gears. The EMAX 1650 kv motor that came with mine from HK has turned out to be a perfect 6S motor for the Changesun 9012 fan. Plenty of power for my 3.2kg L39. I did fit a 36mm cooling fin just in case and it has many flights so far with no issues.

I wouldn't use HXT900's in any application in this jet, other than perhaps activating an air retract system. Get some larger metal gear servos. These are a nice choice if you don't want to go digital: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=8752

any reasons why you wouldn't use HXT900's.
Have had excellent results in a half dozen 90mm setups varying from 2.7kg to over 4kg.
I will use mg servos for the flaps in the chance a gear up landing is made.

The HXT900's are fantastic servos, but this isn't really the application for them. The torque for these servos is 1.6kg/cm as I recall - I like servos in fast jets to be at least 3kg/cm. Remember, when you double the speed of a model you quadruple the aerodynamic forces - while the HXT900s are fine for a 50mph model, they are a weak link in a 100mph+ model. At least go for a metal gear servo, there are many available (hobbyking and otherwise - check out RC Timer) for not much more than the venerable HXT900.

Tip to save 10 bucks.

Click on the HK listing, hang out without doing anything for a few minutes. A pop up will appear oin the right side with a new price, 10 bucks cheaper. The problem is, you have to buy it, the pop up will not appear again.

I bought it, I have "sucker" painted on my forehead. How the heck can they get a comnposite jet to weigh the same as the foam one.
