Hello aeroseb,
unfortunately I don't have terrybuild's antennas in my hand to compare, so I really don't know what to answer to that. Maybe there is a difference with the helicals, as you can see materials and design are different, G10 (vetronite) cnc cut for consistency.
I am also trying to use a plastic tube over the coax for the pinwheels, hopefully I can keep that up depending on materials availability.

That's great, I welcome a challenge...plus fair comparisons are a good and constructive thing.

You use sma connector for immersion rc or fatshark gear, correct? not rp-sma as with foxtec gear.

I have changed the matching method of my helicals, in favour of Jason's Hecker's tapered transformer.

I find this method to be more consistent, and less time consuming.. SWR stays low on all 5.8 range, super consistent!

Another note, starting from today you can choose the color of the tube, so the antenna matches your plane.

available colors are: baby blue, green, purple, yellow, ... pink ..

Lorenzo, this is your sweet set:

Great Orlando,
7 days is good , that confirms the 7-8 days that I am getting to US and Canada destinations.

Just to explain the deal with the "soft bend" as opposed to the 90° connector.

I am currently building the antennas with RP-SMA connector with a bend in the coax line. What I do is I remove the plastic sheeting from the rg-316 for a bit more than 1"
or about 3cm , and I bend to 90° than I let the solder flow in the cable shield to have a firm and solid bend, than I use the plastic tube over the whole thing.

I am doing this because I received a batch of bad 90° rp-sma connectors, where the antennas resonate at much higher frequency with the same size lobes. So I discarded those connetors and I am waiting for a different brand of connectors to try out.

The antennas you see with a 90° connetor itself are the ones with SMA connector.
I have those and they work fine.

This explains the differences you see in the pics between some antennas with 90° connector and a soft 90° bend...

You have a nice selection and I love the ability to choose the connector.

I, however, would be much more interested if you would have a RHCP helical antenna for 1.3ghz that is tuned to the proper frequency and properly matched. 1.3 is a popular frequency and a lot of people use it, including myself.

I can make my own CL and SPW, but a helix is not as easy, and even more difficult to match. Regardless of that, I made a 15 turn helix and matched it and it seems to work fine, but I would like something that is professionally made.

a 15 turn 1.2-1.3ghz would be a HUGE cannon, that can't be shipped around the world too easily. a 6-7 turn Helical would be definitely something that's on the drawing board. If I recall correctly the 100km record was made with a 6 or 7 turn Helical on that frequency.

I will look into it soon.
