Hello,
Yes it's normal for now I am finalizing the details of the registered accounts.
No worries... the antennas get to the USA within 7 days of shipping.
In the near future I will ship to northern American customers directly from my virginia address -- work in progress

it's 10$ for everyone, I pay more than 10$ to ship to the US (12$-14$), and I pay a bit less to ship to Europe (9$ average) so I figure it evens out.

So far it's all priority mail, and haven't lost a package with 200+ sent all over already. So far so good.

Great game last night BTW - incredible team Spain...

So, if anything appreciate sircanas tribute if the virevent logo has anything at all to do with your antenna. Which I doubt btw.

Built one of your designs yesterday, actually the virevent, thanks for an excellent tutorial!

I know i was being sarcatic to the comment above, but look like my humour was not really appreciated.

On another note, why 5685 and 5740Mhz?

Those are just customers' used frequencies. Normally I center them either for a low range 5645-5800 or for a high range 5800-5945 , most people seem to use the low range, so centering them at 5800 is not optimal and swr can be 1.5-1.6 at the extremes 5645-5945 , which frankly is still very good in my book, but I do strive for 1.2 swr on the selected frequency (not always or easily achieved), basically I just build a bunch of antennas with straight connectors, 90 connectors, and see where the center frequency is and mark them, sooner or later someone will request that center frequency. It would be a nightmare to WANT to center them on a pre-specified frequency.

I got it to the point where adding a drop or 2 of epoxy will shift frequency in a controllable way, if you start a bit high...

For the helicals tuning them is a much simpler task with the wave trap, shifting it a little to the left or right will get me the lowest swr for the given channel/frequency, but Helicals are more wideband than the pinwheels so swr stays low throughout the range.

Just ordered a pair of 5.8ghz SPW tuned for 5760mhz. Currently using a CP and SPW from BevRC which I'm not overly impressed, though they're only half the price, with so will be good to compare. Will let you know if they're much better or not when I recieve them.
