It did take a bit longer than usual, but at the end it arrived in what? 10 working days?
Pls, let me know what kind of range and video quality you get with these... I can't fly every single antenna I design and build, so I have to go by static tests and computer simulations..
Real life footage is always welcome!

Now these 1.2 Helix are just sweet!

Roger here is your 1.2 Helix, with matching pinwheels on 1280Mhz!

Tony,

I bought the antenna for a FPV Summit, not so much for plane flying.

But i will post up how far I get.

Whats the best way to attach a mount to the base? Is it ok to drill through it?

Yes, you can drill through it with 3 or 4mm bit, I suggest to drill on the opposite side as the wave trap matching section

So is it a Traxxas 4x4 vehicle?

what antenna are you mounting on the land vehicle?

Hey Tony I have a question. What it the reason you offer a 4.25 turn Helical, why not just a 4 turn? What are the advantages? I can't see there being a worthwhile gain increase from a 1/4 turn extra. Am I missing something?

You are not missing anything, It just happens that with my original cad design, the spiral ended up being 1/4 turn more, and I didn't bother changing the design, I scaled it up and down for more turns but I kept the extra 1/4 turn, for sake of fidelity to the original design. Pleople liked it, and I am not going to change something if people like it.

That said, this is my black version of the 1.2 Ghz 4.25 turns.

Some say "Once you go Black , you never go back.. "

Hello Guilherme,
your 4.25 turn 1.2 + 2 sets of 1.2 are heading to Brazil.
This took a bit longer then normal to complete, but I am slowly catching up with orders.

I am no longer in Herndon, VA. I have a house in Italy now, and I am buying a house in sunny Florida .

I am in Italy 8 months out of the year though!

More like sunny in between thunderstorms Florida. Been like that almost
daily where I am for the last 3 months. Today was the first sign
of nicer weather, a little drop in humidity, dew point, and temp.
Was in South Carolina at e-Week at the Triple Tree Aerodrome
2 weeks ago and shot a FPV flight using your antennas.
