I guess this one doesn't quite fit the 'humor' section.
Seen it before... Amazing he survived.

A guy getting sucked into a jet engine ...that's nothing......I remember back in the 70's they had big block Chevys with cow induction hoods.

A young lady went down an intake of a Tomcat at VF-101. She did not fare as well as the Intruder guy, but she also lived. She was working in the gedunk on limdu when I was there. She had scarring on her face and one hand that looked like it had been mangled. She was a young ordnanceman who had armed a fuselage bomb rack and then exited the tunnel right in front of the intake.

That's why it pays to spend a bit of extra time to review safety, even after hours. Hmm, I spent a lot of my spare time looking the three inch 50's over, wishing I knew more about electronics and mechanics. I loved that gun.

Seen that video many times over my career...guy had 1/10th of a second of bad judgement...which is enough to kill you on the flight deck.

I always liked the looks of the A6. There's something very distinctive about the windshield shape of Grumman planes.

I like that middle strut also.

Looks like an S3 could fold a person over and right through, nothing to stop it. But I'm not sure how much pull it has, pretty low to the deck.

Once upon a time, when a small wrench was not accounted for on the flight line, the entire air-wing was grounded from fear of accidental FOD ingestion. After the squadron spent the entire afternoon searching for that wrench, I was the one who finally located it (it was in the doorway of a C130 resting on a fuselage rib). Instead of getting a "that a boy" for having found the wrench, my shop-chief secretly though I purposely planted it there so I could receive credit for finding it.
