How do I explain this, I must have drilled the hole for the elevator pivot in the wrong spot because after I hooked up the push rods they kinda worked against each other. ( DO YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN,DO YOU GET MY DRIFT, IS IT CLEAR TO YOU?) Any way I changed the head over to a DELTA mix configuration, glad I had room under the one servo to mount another so they would be in somewhat alignment.
Other things going on in life working on it as I have time. Sorry for the delay.

OK now lets get back to it shall we, Now that the summer things are all done the kids are back in school and the family get-together s are all but done I have some time to get back to where I left off. So I got the iron out and started to cover the Sig conversion only to find out I'm not going to have enough covering to do it in one color. It may look like a patch work quilt when I'm done but I'm not waiting on the mailman so it's what I have left over.

Soon I hope

'The Green Hornet', kind of has a ring to it Bill. Though its a mismatch of colours I think it looks really good and will most certainly aid with orientation.

What will it be, still IC or maybe electric?

No it will be nitro I have the tank and throttle servo installed and the motor mount bolted in. have to set in the motor and cut the cowl to fit the big Magnum 91 4stroke I hope the blades will be able to lift it I think it is going to be a tank.

I am finishing up a few odds and ends and I might be taking it up tomorrow. All up weight without gas is a smidgen over 8lb.s . I have it hanging and it is nose down but not as much as expected it will be more with fuel added but I don't want to fuel it up in the house!!. I made a anti strike plate for under the rotor plate and also put rudder braces on the tail in the event of a tail strike. I will post pictures later as I am on the I pad and can't up load from this thing.

Hi Bill

I have just checked the Super 60 and thats got a hang angle of about 17 degrees measured at the tailplane and a rearward tilt of about 5 degrees at neutral trim....I would think you may need a little more hang angle than you have at present.....mine needs all that it has!!

I have also got about three degrees of right and three degrees of downthrust on the engine, if anything a little more downthrust would'nt go amiss on mine.

Hope this helps

Cheers
Rich
