Wanted
Beginner plane bnf with my dx8

Local guys have gotten me interested in getting a plane. I would like it to be bnf with my dx8. And something that can handle outdoor flying. I fly helis already and they say planes are a little easier and if it's foam a lot cheaper to fix. I Fly good on a sim but that is a sim. Also learn pretty quickly. Let me know what you have. And nothing too expensive please. Heading to marine boot camp hopefully by years end and don't want to spend everything

Planes are easier and tougher! i started with heli's too. You don't need a total beginner plane - get something like a Decathlon 40 that is high wing but can do intermediate aerobatics (depends if you want elec or nitro), and i wouldn't go foam...just my 2c, but they don't fly as well usually, and bigger doesn't have to be more money and flies A LOT better. Totally subjective from someone who just made the same transition a year ago! best, Morgan

Foam flies fine!!! dont let anyone tell you different. Now im going to suggest buying a Multiplex funcub. its a kit.. BUT ITS ONE AMAZING PLANE. so versatile.. it will be easy to learn on as its forgiving and slow, but if you over power it it will become a monster STOL aerobatic vertical rocketing glider tow plane thats so easy to fly I HIGHLY recommend going and looking at the funcub threads.

id get an epp 3d plane.....because those other planes do get very boring after you have learned how to fly. Taught my friend on epp 3d plane now he can hover and advance and fully use this plane and they are really hard to break and veey easy to fix.. just my .02

110% agree
Planes are much easier to fly than heli! Get an epp foam 3d plane instead unless you really have a thing with high wing trainer type of plane

I have a Parkzone Stinson Reliant I'd be willing to part with. I have it BNF with 6 channel orange receiver. You would need your own batteries.
