Is that a radar reading 312Km/h? my doppler only captures the first pass with 351km/h. Looks to keep well up with the standard pylon setups...

Sounds resonable, the radar is affected by the angle and doppler only captures a fly by

now remember an F5D airframe explodes at higher speeds

Reminds me of the first lines from my favorite movie:
"Narrator: There was a demon that lived in the air. They said whoever challenged him would die. Their controls would freeze up, their planes would buffet wildly, and they would disintegrate. The demon lived at Mach 1 on the meter, seven hundred and fifty miles an hour, where the air could no longer move out of the way. He lived behind a barrier through which they said no man could ever pass. They called it the sound barrier."

Guess which movie?

That depends on your flying style... 360 is not 400 ...

the right stuff =]

PS, that was a real quote... I forget who said it though...

The only thing I didnt like about the movie, or the aviation community its self is how much they concentrate on yeager etc, however Bob Hoover, a more Accomplished pilot than yeager, doolittle and the rest. and he seem to have fallen through the cracks.... oh well I still respect him!

Very impressive, that looks like a shweet prop! It accelerates incredibly for a pylon setup. Its that an FAI F5D legal setup?

The 1-2-3-Turn *vreeeeeooww* in German sounds like the makings of a some bizarre techno hit/exercise video

It is F5D legal....
...you can use a APC 7*10 for sportflying. If you don´t fly competition, its good enough.
And don´t care about landing...the APC props are stiff,so if you land smooth-the prop woun´t brake...

Lol, to me it sounded like the movie cool runnings! But it would be really cool having a simple 200 mph outrunner set up, no gear box or anything like that =]
