thanks...

i updated to .92 recently and it seems better with the yaw/roll issue. (good to hear about the roll drift fix)

just got 2 batteries flown tonight (wind and my SFGiants are on TV )

now i need to think about how i can power the HFGimbal and Servos from my flight pack (with a BEC) rather than a separate battery (i really liked being able to work on my gimbal without powering my ESCs.... so i dont have to remove my props.... but ill figure something out)

thanks for the response

I believe .92 was just a quick bug fix for .91 not a major difference.

So when can I see video of this board controlling the pan axis of a 3 axis gimbal. Been waiting awhile now. If the thing does it then go slap a gopro on it and fly, please. I'll buy one if it works but I need proof. Otherwise I'm holding out for the Photo Higher Skyline Rock Solid Gimbal Stabilization or the CineStar gimbal board. I can always use a Mikrocopter board as well as it has been field tested and proven.

You know how bad the industry needs a good board. I'm impressed with roll tilt as you've demonstrated but I have yet to see pan stab in action. It's not cool to sell features that don't really work.... If it does work GREAT! Show us.

Still getting some unwanted movements.

On the ground the camera plate does a good job of staying level.

But in the air, it will wonder some.

Seems to be connected with yaw still.

See in the video

Sorry it's a little long, but the last scene is the best (IMO)

Pan axis stab doesn't really work in the air does it. This is why it's impossible to find video of anyone using this feature. I hope your current customers pick up on this. You should NEVER sell features that don't work.... Tired of waiting. I don't feel like I can trust Hoverfly...again. Nothing has changed.

Nic man I understand your frustration with them not publishing a video.

But you are inferring way too much.

I can verify the servo output works when pan axis is turned on.

I just don't have a 3 axis gimbal.

HF should have a video out for the full feature set of the board

But I think you are wrong in saying that it must not work because you cannot find any videos of it.

It is a new product with a highly specialized market.

The number of people will 3 axis gimbals is small, the number of people will the HF Gimbal is small.

With all due respect, I think you are new to how Hovefly does business. I owned one of the very first HoverflyPro boards with loads of promises that never delivered.... before that was QuadPowered... The promises ran deep and they never delivered. I think they have an issue with promising what they 'think' their product can due but never give it time for real-world testing and necessary changes.... They say their product has certain features and then early adopters buy it and become self-funded guinea pigs. Their one and only video show poor performance but never demos the pan axis... but it was mounted on an AV200 with pan. There is a reason they omitted the pan-stab demo from the video. I posted in a very polite manor many times on this thread to hopefully get them to prove their product and redeem my business but they have lost me... I just think that many other will get burned if not warned. -Peace
