well for my one man setup (i am using one man 90% of the time) I use a knob on my Dx8 for tilt and it auto compensates from where i set it.
when i have it set to a 2 man setup I was using the right stick for angular deflection or angle velocity (elevator) and rudder for yaw ..... perhaps backwards from what you are using. since the |

I sent in a support request. Thus far it is not user friendly and seems to have some issues when using a transmitter to control the gimbal board. I have noticed also, if I power the gimbal and get it all set so the throttle moves the pitch to the max and min I want...if i unplug the gimbal, and then move the transmitter stick from where it was before, then power back on gimbal it screws up my max and min settings and starts from a new point...Also, I got the 360 pan to autocompensate kind of but it is way to slow to react and no way to adjust it. Also having trouble getting it to even let me control pan at all now for some reason...This thing is frustrating me to no end right now. Bed time and gonna work some more on it tomorrow.

i am sure you'll get it, i know 1.0 was suppose to unlock those grey boxes.... so perhaps something like an update assistant software is needed.
this was shot with the gimbal controller (some clips could be better )

yeah, i was using auto focus
(which is dumb and i am changing to manual set to infinity)Shutter Priority @ 1/160 for most stuff shot here. I am changing to full manual for flying next time around..... i use the iA as light a light meter to get a ballpark and then set it in manual. |

I must have missed the last 15 pages of the gimbal manual lol. Just reread and think I will be able to solve most of my issues. EXCEPT for the yaw settings issue, and not sure how I'm supposed to mount gimbal board. Is there a way to lock the pan? Mine seems to be able to move like the servo is not strong enough to keep it in position which shouldn't be the case. Mine is mounted so it moves with pan and roll of gimble but not pitch. Cinestar 360 mount with continuos rotation servos and potentiometers on roll and tilt.
