It was powered up to check both batteries, bind & gyro checked, placed back in the box. I am just a plane kind of guy and not really into heli's. Plus I got suckled into the hype at the hobby shop.....they were like "hey we only have 3 more of these left...want one?" So I got suckered in I suppose.

The 2nd new battery is also an E-flite battery...not a clone.

I also have a MCX2 that I will be listing too....that has 4 flights on it.

ya i am a plane kinda guy two but thinking of building a quad just to see what its all about.Do you know if this little guy would be a good trainer for a bigger quad or does it not fly like a regular(500) size quad?i also have a mcx2 and have got alittle board with it, is this thing any faster? thanks jeff

I was told it is a good trainer for the larger frame quads. The field where I fly has a fair number of guys flying quads and they all suggested the MQX....that is why I purchased it, to learn how to fly a larger quad. I just decided I like planes way more.

As far as speed, when I watch them fly the MQX at my local field, there is more speed than some of the old-timers can catch up with.....for sure way faster than the MCX2. I think the MCX2 is something for a rainy day (indoors not outdoors)...they fly the MCQ in 10 mile an hour winds sometimes.
