hi,
I'm trying to use turnigy mini mems and i've set it as suggested in ecilop assembling manual, but i don't know how to disable avcs mode. I read that if Blue led blink slowly 2 times i'm in avcs (heading lock) mode and i try to disable it by using potentiometer on my radio but it always blink. I use it with naza, so if someone have already done it could share settings here?

thanks

Hi
I've been modding this frame so much that if it flies when the temperature gets closer to zero degrees celsius(right now it's -15) i'll try it more. I dont think the plastic parts can stand -15. Have a look in this post where i describe what mods i've done.

Try putting your phone with a vibration meassuring app on the frame before and after to see if any dampening helps. This is a very flimpsy frame. Also take a look at the picts in this thread to see more mods.

What gyros do you use?

hi,
thanks, i already use app vibrations with my iphone to remove vibrations from motors and propellers (balancing them). I buy carbon tube arm to use instead the original from package (i think they are aluminium), but i don't know if is better aluminium or carbon arms to get less vibrations. I must use carbon or aluminium arms?

My gyro are turnigy mini mems setted as ecilop assembling manual.

I have bought one from BuyChina.com two month ago, It seems quite flexible and fast in flying.

I tried to make one yesterday with with Wago connectors but they couldnt stand the power. The ESC's sounded like an angry cat so today i'm going to remove this connectors and make a wiring harness.

Hi,

I know this is a bit old but you might still be subscribed to it... are these the ones you used:

http://www.newark.com/wago/222-415-k...-28/dp/28K2062

If so, I am surprised to hear that they did not work for you?! They are rated at 32A at 400V... No electrician, but doesn't that mean that at lets say 6s they should stand way more A?!

thanks,

G

With all the brushless gimbals coming out, I don't know how these stabilized frames will fare. In a way the two are converging.
