So Did Anyone Get Any FPV Footage of the Eclipse Yesterday?

I'd love to see it if anybody did.

I seriously thought about it (had my plane all packed up and ready to go), but it would just be
too small in frame to make out. If you were dead center in the shadow path you might see
something for a couple minutes as it passes maximum, but the sun was still pumping out
a lot of light.

I stuck to taking photos with my Canon SX30 through a silver audio CD.

Nice pics dude! I kinda figured even if someone did fly during ths eclipse it wouldn't be very noticeable in flight but cool never the less. Thanks for posting those pics Ian.

This is all I got from it, I thought about flying it but I don't have a good method to record video ATM and it wouldn't work well anyway :P.

LOL thats about all I would have got too. I had bad weather here that day and wouldn't have been able to see it if I'd have wanted to.

Cool pics Arley!

Here's a couple...

Taken near Kirkwood Ski Resort in Northern California. And yes, they're FPV (First Person View)---viewed thru my camera. Not airborne however.
