HK Mig-29 composite

I need something to look forward to when I've finished with my trainers. I also want a "project" I can dip in and out of as funds and time allow. I don't want another foamy as the finish spoils them for me, I also don't have enough or experience to build one from scratch, so I thought about composite.

I love fighters so I'm thinking about this:

The price seems good, shame it's not in military colours which leads to my question. What is the covering on these types of planes? Can it be sanded and repainted?

Cheers

It may be foam but once you glass the model you would never know it. They are light and fly much better than the chinese composite jet. http://touch.dailymotion.com/video/x...s_tech?start=6 Watch the videos! Then decide.

Ahh sorry, I didn't realise you glassed them afterwards. Might just be the project I'm after. Any idea if it's easy ish to fit retracts?

Me too Robert!
Keep me posted on how your build goes would you?

Did you get it from HK? If so are the intakes the same on both sides? One looks bigger than the other in the HK pictures.
