DHC 2 Beaver
Started on a Beaver. Don't know why but I have always liked the look of this aircraft.

Nice. I saw several Beavers flying at an air show in New Zealand at Easter, then managed to pick up a second hand Beaver with a 2.1 metre wing span recently from another club member. Going to maiden it and then fit floats.

Here's a picture of it. Not sure what brand of ARF it is, would like to know if anyone does. It's got a .75 2 stroke glow motor for power, a 2.1 metre wingspan and weights a touch under 6kg.
Gonna fit a set of 1/4 scale world models fibreglass floats to it once I get it flying decently off the ground. |
