What happens with a bad Lipo order?
I ordered 6 5s5800 packs and received them today. From being burned on a previous order on one bad pack (not knowing you had to report the failure the day you receive the pack) I knew to check the cells first.
Of the 6 packs, 4 packs have cells below 3.0v. some cells are at 0.0v.
4 bad packs out of 6. $240ish in bad packs, plus shipping.
How does their Lipo warranty work?
I did contact them (I know now, 800 number has never connected and the live chat has been down for weeks). So I went through their contact us page and reported the problem with my order.
What happens next?

This sounds pretty familiar.......
Before anyone else gets on here and starts asking dumb questions like "Didn't you know you are supposed to _______________?" "Did you________?" Did you ___________?" "After all the problems that everyone knows about and you still ordered from them?"....or any other silmilar crud that may make you feel like a lessor person.
Know that you're are not alone,
this is not a new thing,
there are some issues,
at dear old Hobby King!
You are supposed to go to their contacts section on the Hobby King home page and file a support ticket, I think that what you did in your description. They will make you jump though hoops and take clear photos of each battery along with the warranty code, take photos of you doing a voltage reading on each cell, photos of the box, photos of the packaging, the weight, your underwear size and color, etc. You may have to do that several times due to their customer service being so poor and don't be shocked if they don't answer for a week. You may as well do that at the same time you file a paypal / credit card dispute and when you see them drag their feet , take it up a notch to a claim. That way you have proof that you've tried their system and when it didn't work you filed a claim. Pack a lunch, you're going to be at this for weeks. At least if you payed via paypal or Credit Card, you will ultimately get back to square one and the problem will be handled.
my advice would be not to order lipos from Hobby King. Much better venders for that elsewhere, venders that don't play the maintain status quo game.

I say ole chap, sorry for the bum steer and the roust about from Hobby Krap. But , I say, once torched, should have been a lesson there mate!
But do as me friend, Joe, tells ya and ya can kick the ole HK in the bum.
I am really sure that me old friend Mark, hoopy or rcalldaylong, will be along by tea time to give you some instructions as well and tell you what great service they gets from HK.

I just wanted to post a followup.
I did follow the general flow that all of these bad lipo threads have laid out.
I got nothing from HK.
I filed with Paypal. Still nothing with HK.
I upgraded to a claim with PP. A bit over $400, since some of the batteries were good.
Today, almost exactly one month after I received the bad batteries, I got a refund from PP.
My faith in humanity is partially restored.

Actually, now I am in the market for batteries.
Who else has decent deals on large Lipo packs?
I am looking for 5 and 6 cell, 5800mAh or so.
