It sounded like SUSA is MAKING the planes, so I doubt anyone else is selling them.

Forgive me if this has been posted, but can we get some pics and or measuremenats of the battery compartment?

I took a fews word for it with my Viper and I don't want to get screwed again. I want a fuse that will easily hold a 5s 2200mah and I would love to know a specific 5s or 6s pack that is bigger that will also fit.

A ThunderPower 2650 45C 6S pack is the largest pack I can fit into the wing opening. The pack is a very tight fit with no room to spare in every dimension. The pack barely fits in the wing opening and will slide forward maybe 15mm but not backwards past the wing opening. Pack dimensions are 128mm long x 43 mm high x 38 mm wide. You can shop battery dimensions to suit your setup needs. I do not run ThunderPower packs but I have one here and offer this up for size comparisons.

Good luck

Ok, so it looks like a TP 5S 2700mah 65C might work. (127x39x36mm)

New Jolt

Hey fella's, I hope you can stand another Jolt owner. Mine showed up at the front door two days ago. I havn't even had the time to unbox it. I ordered the Green version with flaps. I not an expert by any means, but I do have a couple of Hotliners and pylon planes in my stable. I dont know what to do with the Bi-ailerons though. From the pictures I've seen, there are only one servo bay per side, but two movable surfaces. What gives? I also purchased (from SUSA) a TP 2250 4s. I own a couple of other similar size 4 cells, but they are not of the TP's higher "C" rating. I plan on using a Kontronic 480/33, with a 4.2:1 box. Motor calc states around 175/170 speed-thrust with a 10/23 GM folder.

Here you go http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1736013 and the Giga flap is slaved off the ailerons, they bleed any dirty air from the ail deflection out to the wingtip that is already reducing it's own dirty air.I just used tape (as that is what most do) for mine,No servo needed.

Gary from SUSA says he has had his over 200mph. I am assuming that is on 5S (2s and 3s in series)

Pink is pretty hard to see, but I get the idea of how quick they are. Geez, what a nasty place to land. Makes me feel real lucky to have a 700 ft. grass runway with wide open sky. Better get mine ordered.
Thanks for posting.
