I'd love to have a go, but I'm a bit of a novice on everything edf, for a start my lipos are Turnigy 1000mAh 20c, so I'd probably need to get some with higher C ratings. Can you give me some advice on what size motor and kv I'd need for a small 35mm unit as you mentioned. I'm getting around 21oz of thrust from the prop setup at the moment, so she's pretty fast as the plane only weighs 10.9oz
Any ideas or advice is most welcome, cheers
Andy

Hmm I don't think a 35mm would give you enough thrust then, they normally only give out about 5-7oz

could you fit a 64mm in the back ?

I think a 64mm would be a little to large. I'll take some video of this flying so you can see what kind of performance I'm getting. I must admit an edf unit would really look the part.
